Back In Town

Niki and I have been out of town the last two weeks, hence the lack of updates. I don't have anything of note to blame the previous lack of updates on. Here's the scoop:

Class Trade Show, Santa Monica:

Other stores similar to us (in other cities, naturally), GO TO CLASS! They treat you better than any other trade show you've ever been to. The relaxed setting, coffee on beach along with surfing in the morning if you like, lack of crappy project music. Way less pretentious than the vegas shows. Very targeted (which is why I say stores like us). We picked up a lot of lines that I don't think we would have without it. Most notably Sperry and Toms.

Project/Magic/Pool.....Vegas:

The rumor I heard (that I don't feel like researching) is Ed Hardy was not allowed back at Project this year. So, Christian Audigier started his own show which was really exciting because that whole sea of douche baggery settled elsewhere. True Religion, unfortunatly, cut the chord and stayed behind but they had a nice, enclosed, easy to avoid booth. The rumor went on to say something about the air-raid sirens and crappy dj being the bulk of the banning so it was dissapointed that they went with a 6 song EDM mix, played for 3 days straight in an echoey chamber. I have to admit it was a little weird not having them there. It's hard to let a nemesis go.
I can confidently say our Fall/Winter and Spring will be far superior to anything we have offered before and we are thrilled to have all of your support to help us grow. Along with our Standard men's lines Ben Sherman, Fred Perry, Brown Sound and Penguin we are reintroducing last falls favorite The Smooth Company, outerwear company La Merde and the t-shirt line Siva. The women's side fared well also with plenty of Free People, Eve Gravel, She Bible, Bobi and new comer Eryn Brinie (which consequently if you haven't been in to see the first delivery you have to see it) and some new surprises for the girls too. Lots of new jewlery lines for both women and men for fall. Pictures of new things to follow.

Also, I have to apologize for no trunk show this gallery hop. We'll make up for it buy giving you half off of all sale items for the weekend and announcing our Ben Sherman trunk show has been confirmed for November 1st. We're working on getting them to bring some women's along too.
