Worthless For The Next Week

I have been petitioning for a Ms. Pac-Man machine for the bulk of Niki and I's relationship. To be honest, I have wanted one for most of my life. I pushed for one when we opened, but our friends who own a great store in Chicago,
Penelope's
, had one and it seemed odd to also have one.
Well today is the first day of the rest of this 1981, beautiful, all-original, Ms. Pac-Man's life. No longer is she forced to spend days at a time, turned off in a private residence (actually the people we bought it from have a beautiful house and it was in a pretty cool room...) longing for the attention she deserves.
Like any good dealer the first weekend is free (play), and honestly it's free until I can figure out how to make it not free. Whoever holds the record will receive a 5% discount at Tigertree until the record is broken.

Happy Birthday Fred!

This year would mark Fred Perry's 100th birthday. His namesake company that has turned the polo shirt into one of the most important pieces of clothing in a man's wardrobe has put out a special centenary line in his honor. We have just received in this amazing polo from said line.

Fluffy Co.

When we go on a buying trip and meet with someone who has dye all over their hands because they were printing the tees that they are selling while having coffee that morning, we cannot help but fall in love.
Meet Fluffy Co.
The designer screens their home goods by hand on sustainably farmed pine, their tees are printed in their hometown of San Fransisco on American made shirts, the accessories are also printed in CA on domestic materials.. and they manage to do it all so affordably! Below is a sampling of the new styles we got in today:

Owl Line-up Tee $34

Meadow Tee $34

Organic and eco-friendly Gator Crew $46

Birds of Prey Hoodie $66

Mini Wallets $20

Wall Hooks $34

You're A Man Now, Dress Like It III

You know that saying "character is how you act when no one is looking?" Socks are kind of like that. Most people aren't going to notice your socks. The right socks, however, can be like that perfect scream that makes an Otis Redding song important.
All you have to do is pick a pair of socks that contrast with your shoes and pants and match anything else you are wearing. The more subtle item, the more memorable the scream when someone notices. Match them to your shirt or tie and your "Dock Of The Bay," overplayed but better than anything else around you and memorable. Match them to your jacket liner or collar and your in "Try A Little Tenderness" waters.
The white socks ( or worse, gray athletic socks that you think are passing for dress socks) you are wearing are like James Taylor. No matter how hard you worked on your outfit, you end up looking like a douche bag that likes Dane Cook and spending time on pontoon boats.

There are more styles of Happy Socks than I can post post here but trust that we have something to match everything in your wardrobe. We have them for women too! They are also made in Turkey, so now I have a clever response (this happens at least once a week) to people that can't tell that two stores next door to each other with separate doors, signs, window clings and inventory are in fact different stores and ask if everything is made in Turkey.
